I was initially drawn to this line of jewelry by the catchy slogan of its creators: "Yvel, whose name is the mirror image of it's [sic] founders' surname." This clever saying smacks of quality and originality, and I knew I would be getting a fine product.

I was not disappointed. What I love about this necklace is that it goes with anything -- I can wear it with jeans when I'm hanging out at the mall, or I can wear it with my finest evening gown on special occasions. It also makes a great gift -- at my last birthday party I put a few of them in the pinata and my guests were delighted. I also got a matching one for my poodle so that when I take her on walks we can look fabulous together.

It's useful for other things too. Last Tuesday my little sister wanted to play "Hungry Hungry Hippos," but the plastic marbles had gone missing. Luckily, we had this one-of-a-kind necklace around -- I unstrung the pearls and used them as temporary replacements. Those hippos never ate so well!
