What scares me most is the way concepts and methods of presenting an argument that would have baffled me or annoyed me when I first started the job have begun to make perfect sense. Now that I'm back in North America, of course, it's all hilarious again. But I still have a twinge of "but if you're only laughing, you are missing part of the point".
